Exactly what it says in the title. A meme dedicated to sexy-sparring and gym-scenarios. Roll a Dice, or pick your favorite prompt.

1--Workout-buddies. Need a spotter? maybe just someone to help you stretch. Or watch your technique.
2--Sparring. Because getting physical one way can lead to getting physical in another way. You're not trying to hurt your partner, just train. Your body heat rises, heart races, breathing faster--and in some pretty close positions.
3--Cool-down. Stretching, lighter exercise, maybe even help cleaning up or putting things away. A chance to potentially deal with un-resolved tension.
4--Aftermath. Clean-up in the showers, changing clothes, dealing with potential minor-injuries. Comfort and care of one kind might lead to comfort/care of another.

“So you are thinking weird stuff!” Just...passes over the part about her bringing it up. It’s not like she even knew what those weird stuff would be. But you know, she’s embarrassed enough as it is. Limited in her movements, she just glares down as she hovers over him.

Part of him wanted to argue, but he couldn't think of a good retort beyond pointing out, again, it's her fault. So Trunks just kept his mouth shut, and huffed again before trying to calm down and...ignore their position.

Which wasn't easy, given she was all but laying on top of him, breathing hard, and he could feel her glare too. It's several more heartbeats, before a small 'tch' sound was heard. Resignation, if anything (and trying to ignore that he was still blushing down to his collarbone). As weird as this was, hopefully this would make it 'less' weird, for now---and wouldn't insult her pride in ways that would provoke a squabble.

"Just hold still, alright?" It wasn't quite grit out the way his other words had been, but it was definitely with more invective than he usually used. Trunks shifted himself up slightly, and turned. One arm going to her leg again, and under it, as he continued moving. Shifting them both now to be sitting up--and while she was still effectively on his lap and leaning on him, it wasn't quite so...intimate.

At least that's what he told himself. His own legs crossed, with both of hers draped to the side, where she was still leaning against him. Keeping his head turned and slightly down, Chinatsu could easily lean against his shoulder.

"I was trying to not think about anything other than making sure you're okay...and then we started arguing." That's about all the apology she's going to get.

This still felt intimate to her, probably because from an outside perspective it looked sweeter or more...cuddly. But at least in this position he couldn’t see how red her face was getting since she could just duck down and not look at him.

“Whatever...,” she mutters as she leans lightly against him. Chinatsu wasn’t about to admit how comfortable this was, that’s for sure.

Oh it still felt intimate to him--for much the same reason. Even if Trunks knew himself enough to know he had no experience with any kind of relationship that wasn't friends, he knew how it might look. Chinatsu seemed calmer too, but with her it was always hard to tell.

"...whatever yourself." It's more automatic, with no bite to it. A rote response, as their squabbling was actually comfortable. "I am proud of the progress you've made. You should be too."

Really? At least his compliment stopped her from answering back.

“I’ll be proud when I properly beat you.” There wasn’t any harshness in her tone, maybe because she was tired. Damn him for being so comfy. Her breathing gets steadier, in time with his own.

Their breathing was in synch, which wasn't really helping his blush or the awkwardness. Her comment did bring a hint of smile though. "You already beat me in other ways. Are you any less proud of those victories?"

“This and that are two different things.” Obviously. Damn, this was a comfortable position. She let’s out a yawn, feeling her muscles slowly start to relax.

"Of course they are..." Was the retort, complete with eye-roll. But he couldn't stay mad, or annoyed (not that he had been really) when she yawned. "You gonna be okay?" It's asked more gently, Trunks letting an arm come around her waist loosely. Supporting her more, remembering she'd been shaking from all the exertion of their sparring--and letting himself feel a bit protective.

Wha a question. “Can’t say the same for you once I’m back on my feet...” she mutters. Fake it till you make it, right?

“Your fault for being comfy.”

"Can't wait." Smiling while he said it, with a soft chuckle under his breath. Leaning his head against hers too, while exhaling. "We make a pair, don't we?"

She as pretty comfy too, lithe and grace and warmth.

“Mm,” she hums in content agreement, at least, until the words sink in. Her head jerks up suddenly, smacking right into his chin. She let’s out a garbled sound in pain as she holds onto the top of her head, her face red and her eyes watery.

“W-what the hell are you talking about?!”

His head snapped up before turning to the side and he huffed. "Nothing like what you're assuming, geeze." Nope, that arm is moving from her waist, back behind him as he leans away deliberately now. Just in case she's going to get violent, arms supporting him.

“Assu—I wasn’t assuming anything! You’re the one that said it all weird!” Which is why it’s also his fault she felt a sense of loss when his arm moved away. “Why else would I even t-think such a thing..!”

"I wasn't THINKING anything, except that we're a pair..." Trunks huffed. "Seriously! None of my thoughts have been weird until you said anything." Trying to ignore that his thoughts were now trying to think of what she meant by 'weird'.

Which wasn't helping, given he was hyper-aware of her still.

“Well how else was I supposed to take that?!” No one says stuff that way. “What DID you mean then?”

"You always seem to assume the worst." Trunks murmured with another huff, but otherwise he stayed silent. Head turned to the side, tense again, and trying to ignore that she was still effectively on his lap, where she could lean against him.

Letting that silence stretch for now.

And silence there was, for a moment.

“...Are you saying being paired with me would be the worst?” Sorry, Trunks. There’s no winning here.

"That is not what I said, and you know it." Head snapping back towards her, eyes narrowing slightly in challenge. "Honestly, I feel like you'd suffer more with me." A snort. "After all, I don't get your references most of the time, I have no clue what a normal life is like, never mind my clothing..."

A sigh, and leaning his head down. "I can't always tell if you're actually acting, or really are that upset with me, given how we squabble."

"I don't act," she corrects him. While her expressions may be confusing, Chinatsu didn't lie about them. She had varying levels of upset, and sometimes she wasn't even upset at all. Her embarrassment just came out that way sometimes. But the way he put himself down like that..

"You didn't answer my question."

Again he was quiet, before taking in a deep breath, and exhaling. Eyes closed, finding some semblance of his center. "Being paired with you would not be the worst. There are so many here I can think of whom I would not do nearly as well with, as with you, when it comes to working together."

He meant it, every word.

Chinatsu stays silent, not looking up at him reacting much. She simply gives a soft huff, seemingly accepting his answer. Not that that made her happy or anything.

The huff, oddly, made him smile. Tiny, but there and amused and genuine. Mostly because the reaction was just so....her. "Everything's a battle with you, isn't it?" That hint of tease again, and Trunks meant it rhetorically.

Especially since he was quiet again, before adding. "Feeling steadier?" Because she was still leaning on him, sitting in his lap, and he was trying to ignore that it felt very comfortable. Having her that close.

Oh right. She was still on him--- and up she went. Probably too fast though, because she found herself falling right back down onto him. "Crap--!"

Welp--that answered that question, and her second fall was at least more controlled. Moving his arms, coming out of the leaning position to gently grasp, then slide one arm under her own and against her back, while the other went under her legs. Helping control that fall, almost like he'd carry her, when she fell back.

"Guess not." Accompanied with a small amused sound, and a head-shake. "I pity any obstacles in your way. You just don't give up." But Trunks didn't sound like he minded.

What was this? A shoujo manga where the girl falls for no apparent reason or a dumb one anyway and lands on the love interest? Not--that Trunks was a love interest. Which is what made this more embarrassing. "Y-you're the one that told me to get up!"

No he wasn't.
