So this meme is an old one but a good one. The characters have found themselves in a situation where they're in danger of dying from exposure to the cold/hypothermia/etc. The stave this off, they need to share body-heat. They could've been off exploring and got caught in a cave or cabin, with only a blanket between them. Who knows?
