The Explorer's Craft was a smaller ship--maxed at 15 people. The Arethusa was nice for all of that, and still in the early stages of its Exploration. Only 1/3rd staffed, it had just brought on two new crew-members.
Current Crew consisted of Professor John Robinson as the Captain, Gune in Engineering, "Nurse" Joy in Medical, and general crew members Jayne Cobb and Turanga Leela. It seemed an easy going (mostly) ship, and the current crew was treated to an announcement on their Omni-band at the arrival of 2 new crew-members along with their vital-statistics (height, weight, age, place of origin, general skills). Professor Robinson seemed fairly hands off and willing to delegate things, as the Arethusa was currently en-route. Their 'mission' for this exploration was to visit a resort planet, and study it's economy and how it remained so Utopian. Gune was nice, if easily distractable, and the only 'obvious' alien although some suspected Leela. Jayne mostly spent his time verbally sparring with Leela or keeping to himself, while Nurse Joy simply seemed content and willing to help. Curious at times, and clearly intelligent, but she wasn't one to make waves if they weren't needed.
Information on the Omniband
Name:
Age:
Height/Weight:
Place of Origin:
Skills:
Each crew-member wakes up in their bunk, wearing the ship's uniform. They will have some possessions from home. (The uniform is generally black boots, blue BDU pants and Jacket with a name patch, and a black t-shirt or tank-top underneath.) Each crew-member also posesses an omni-band. A small ring-like device that is designed to be worn like a collar or a bracelet, and that can be expanded or contracted. It may act as a communicator and mini-computer.

Date: 2017-02-02 03:27 am (UTC)Blue-eyes narrowed, the atmosphere suddenly charged again and dangerous. Leela was focused on the moment though, and too far into her kick. Single-eye widening as her booted foot was caught and held, Trunks straightening up and just...holding it. Spar over although the cyclops was allowed to pull back as she dusted herself off a bit too. That had been fun. Hands on her hips, shifting so she could watch both of them. "Not sure what that is either. I'm human, but...a mutant." Almost shyly admitted there, moving to rub her elbows self-consciously as she shifted and looked down. "From New New York, in the 31st century."
The off-switch had been triggered again, thankfully, as Trunks took a deep breath, hands going in his pockets. Hint of blush on his face, sheepishness, mumbling--but loud enough to be heard. "...half-human here. On my mother's side."

Date: 2017-02-03 02:02 am (UTC)Trunks just discreetly took another breath, and kept his hands at his sides as he made his way over to see if Thea needed help. "Trained warriors where I'm from often have a battle aura." Quietly, broaching that idea.
"Yeah, I suppose that makes sense. Fry's mentioned something like that in his stories about the past." One shoulder shrugged. "Anyways, what I really came to tell you two, was we've had word on what our mission is. OR at least when we'll be arriving there. We've got about 3 days or so, and suitcases with belongings will be provided. Apparently," There was a hint of skepticism, in her tone but she was still willing to accept it. "We're all to just visit the planet. Observe, enjoy. We're expected to keep in touch via our wrist-bands, but we don't have to stay together."

Date: 2017-02-03 03:04 am (UTC)"Much as you don't want to rest, that's two sources saying so now." Trunks might've been trying to keep it light too himself. At Leela's eyebrow raise, he answered. "Thea had a rough arrival, but isn't the kind who wants to sit around."
"Uh huh." Leela murmured with a smile, watching the two. "Well, even if you're an experienced space traveler, this can be new. I'd go make a list of things you've always wanted to do in a tropical resort, personally. Apparently we're each getting 1K in local currency for spending money too." Then the cyclops was making her way to the stairs and back up to the higher levels. "I'm gonna go let Joy and the Corn-Cob know what's up."

A glance at Thea, and a hint of smile at her comment. "Good. I was getting worried I'd have to knock you out to make you rest." Which would earn him some eyebrow-raises for sure from the others.

Not hard after that to walk down the corridor that they'd spotted before. It lead deeper into the ship's bowels, including the engine room and contained some manual controls for various functions of the ship.
Light conversation, Trunks explaining about 'ki' and battle-auras, as much as he could, from his version of Earth.

As well as some of the fighters he'd met while in the past himself. Mostly, Trunks let her talk or explained enough to be polite. Not minding carrying her around the ship as they headed back up towards the helm and control rooms, and then back to the crew-quarters. Hopefully enough to tire her out fully so she'd sleep and rest.
