Title:To come later?
Who: The Tenth Doctor (and the TARDIS), Trunks Briefs (Mirai/Future), others...
What: The TARDIS takes the Doctor where he is needed, not necessarily where he wants to go.
Open/Closed: Closed.
Additional Details:TBD
The TARDIS Sensors indicate Age 787, Planet 4032-877b. More specifically, it's a variant of Earth--not surprising in some ways. But the continents and a map don't match some of the other more modern versions he's been to before. What could be wrong here?
Well, a look-around would tell him that. The city he arrived in looks like its seen better days, to be frank. It's a hive of demolished buildings and streets, debris and abandoned and scrapped vehicles everywhere. While there are hints of greenery, the large city looks like it's not been demolished long enough ago for it to start recovering from inhabitation, but there's certainly no regular inhabitants visible.

Date: 2017-04-01 11:19 pm (UTC)There's a slight head nod, "We could use the energy of Tardis to attach him and you could wait for him, knock him unconscious take him inside and re-program him."

Date: 2017-05-04 02:56 am (UTC)There was understanding there--leaving behind others and knowing they were safe was a good thing, a satisfying thing. But at the same time, Trunks would admit to some slight jealousy. Even as things were becoming better for his world, he mourned at times the glimpse of things he could've had, were his world different.
Several more minutes of silent companionship, and then his brow furrowed as he thought over what the Doctor said. "I'd be more concerned about damaging your Tardis. Knocking him out is harder to do than it is to say." Nothing about the reprogramming--and while Trunks would take out Android 16 without a second thought if he needed to for their safety, he knew his Mother--and now the Doctor--would at least want to try to reprogram him.

Date: 2017-06-03 08:10 pm (UTC)His sadness turns into pouting but gives Trunks a slight head nod.
"She'll be fine. Thar's nothing she can't withstand." Wasn't as if the Tardis is just metal but rather living metal and really could take hits more than she looks like.
Then slowly stands back up- and begins to head back towards the kitchen. Knowing he has some explaining to do on just walking out like that.

Date: 2017-06-04 05:27 am (UTC)Once the other was standing though, Trunks stood as well and grabbed his sword. "She's amazing, from all I can tell. But if you're that worried about Time Travel, definitely don't let Mom explore alone." Trying to keep the conversation general, and helpful. "I'm not as much of a gearhead as she is, but I know my way around. SHE is the direct daughter to a genius inventor and a genius inventor in her own right." Pride there. "We mean it, too. We'll help you if we can. Better to just accept that, and figure out ways you'd rather we help, than let her do so on her own."
Trying to advise, because yes the Doctor might have some explaining. Not as much as he'll expect though, as Bulma has cleaned up what she could of the mess in the kitchen. A concerned look in the taller man's direction, her mouth pursed in a line of worry and frustration. She does take a deep breath though, and lets her expression fade into what she can of a small smile. "Would you like me to make you some more tea, Doctor?"
Because getting him back to 'normal' is important--then they can figure out if 16 is gone, and what to do next.

Date: 2017-06-27 11:54 pm (UTC)Upon entering the room - Ten only stands there with no emotion on his face, "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry... I -", a pause, "Lost my friend recently." Then gives her a head nod, "We have a mission - so - what do we do about 16?"

Date: 2017-08-23 10:39 pm (UTC)A moment's pause, then looking at her son, who blinked at her. "Didn't you say he'd seemed to be less aggressive in the past? That he'd been an ally against Cell?" Trunks looked up, trying to remember the specifics. "I...think so? Yeah, mom re-programmed him, and then he was instrumental in helping Gohan achieve Super Saiyan level 2..." A bit more excitement in his voice there, especially when Bulma was nodding.
"So Doctor, the hard part seems to be we keep him from tracking you." As she gave her attention back to the Doctor. Letting him have his privacy and secrets, even though she appreciated the information. "Then it's up to you if you want to help us figure out how to knock him out and reprogram him. You're a busy man though, with things to do."
She and Trunks had both picked up on how he seemed both to reach out and want to be around people, and yet---he wanted to leave. Very conflicted individual, and they were attempting to give him an out. But they also wouldn't turn down help---Earth had suffered enough, they'd take the help they could get.

Date: 2017-09-14 09:00 pm (UTC)The only way that that robot wouldn't track The Doctor is by powering down his ship and powers down The Tardis to minimum power.
"Alright! Next we'll have to set a trap. And then - someone will have to knock him out. And while he's knocked out he can be reprogrammed."

Date: 2017-09-14 09:12 pm (UTC)"Okay then, so, Trunks" Bulma moved to take a seat at the table once more, to start planning in earnest. "Anything else you remember about Android 16? We can't assume he's a perfect copy of the one from the past, but it'd be nice to have some idea of what he can do, and what we might be able to work out."
Trunks crossed his arms and was thinking. "...He might have a remote shut-off switch. Androids 17 and 18 did, when we found blueprints in Gero's lab." There was a startled blink. "Oh, and he might have a bomb in his chest." That, was not welcome news.

Date: 2017-09-14 09:25 pm (UTC)"Oh I can build a transmitter if you can get me those readings." Bulma said confidently, smirking while Ten gathered his gear. She reached into a pocket and pulled out a small capsule. "I've got tools and some spare parts right here, and anything we don't have, we can get easily."
Trunks was looking kind of lost for a moment, before he sighed. "Which means I guess I'm the bait, for you two testing it, huh?" Made sense to him, and there was a half-smile on his face because as much as it wasn't fun, he didn't mind. It wasn't like he wouldn't recover, so long as he didn't die. Of the 3 of them, he was also the most suited for it.
