When Trunk's trace finally pauses in place on the monitor screen, Ten zooms in to get the dimensions of the surrounding area that Trunks hide himself in. Otherwise, they'd have to risk giving Trunks' hiding spot away with no idea where the Andriod is.
With the coordinates locked on the TARDIS makes the gasping wheezing noise that she always makes when disappearing and the same when she reappears - right over Trunks and takes Trunks right into the TARDIS.
