Sometimes, you need things. Food and water are the most obvious culprits, though there are necessities that aren't as obvious, like human contact - despite how much some of us grouse against it - or affirmation. Sex, however, isn't usually considered one of those necessities. Sometimes it sure as heck feels like it, though. While it may be the person themselves, your feelings toward them, your desire for the act of alone, or any number of factors, you want sex badly, and the result is desperate, blind sex.

"Desperate" here doesn't mean all the negative connotations that just anyone will do. Instead, it means you really, really want to be with the person your with, possibly more than anything else at that moment. It's not necessarily rough sex, though it can be. What it is - well, that's passionate, hungry, lustful, sweaty, needy, just...desperate. Hands in their hair, teeth against teeth desperate. There's no better word for it, really. You're letting go with them and fulfilling the hunger inside.

Thrilling as it was to battle alongside her god, it was also terrifying. Actual fights were different from training or sparring with friends. Despite being dead, there was still a chance of disappearing from the heavens. With the adrenaline comes the realizatio that they could have died, and reconnecting with someone she cared about helped ground her and remind her of what to be grateful for.

That’s why once her god was situated, Chinatsu found herself heading over to Trunk’s place, wasting not time in walking up to him, reaching for his face and tiptoeing to crash her lips against his.

She still hadn’t changed, evidence of her earlier battles still quite evident. Hell, she was still out of breath, but that didn’t slow her down.

As usual, Mai had his first priority--she was his Goddess. Whether he was fighting beside her while she shot, or aiding her as a vessel, for all the thrill that came with fighting there was always the worry.

This had been a bad fight too, as shinki had fallen and become the most dangerous ayakashi. With the memories he'd recovered, Trunks knew fighting for his life and others was nothing new---but it never changed that he was grateful when it was done. Craving reminders he was more than simply a weapon, and there was more to life than fighting.

Once Mai was settled, he was out the door--not bothering to change or clean up or anything, and barely at the edge of the grounds before she was there. A moment of surprise, the relief clear on his face, and then she was there and kissing him, and her fingers were against his face, sliding into his hair.

No time at all wasted, arms winding around her in turn and returning her kiss. Breathless because she'd stolen it, pulling her close and holding her tightly. Everyone was safe--she was safe. There, with him, both alright after battle and the people who mattered most as well.

Chinatsu smirked against his lips when Trunks returned the kiss, having no problem leaning into him. “Missed me?,” she teases, though barely pulls away from him as she speaks.

One hand slid up from her waist along her spine, gently cupping the nape of her neck and shoulders. A smile greeting that smirk, as her fire never failed to bring him happiness. Even when they were squabbling with each other, he adored her spirit and fire.

"Worried, even though I knew I shouldn't be. You're too stubborn to die again." Teasing himself, but not letting her go. "Nekhbet safe?" Which was a stupid question, she wouldn't be here if her God wasn't, but he had to check. Leaning up enough, kissing her forehead, and smirking against skin. "You okay too?"

She may laugh at him worrying and find it uneccessary, but it kind of felt nice to know he cared. “Yeah, he might actually be more stubborn that I am.” Her eyes close as he kisses her forehead, chuckling as she spoke. The gesture was sweet and made her cheeks heat up in a pleasant way. Her arms wrap around his neck, but loosely enough that she can look over part of him.

“Are you?”

A head-shake of no, arm tightening around her waist to pull her closer. "Nope. At least nothing some holy water and a good shower won't cure." Trunks head tilting slightly, an easy smile on his face as he noticed her looking over him.

"Much as you hate this outfit, it's pretty good at helping me survive most things."

She rolls her eyes, but the smile remains. “Yeah, well, still prefer you out of it.” He was right about the shower though. Reaching up, she wipes some dirt off his cheek.

"Then help me out of it." The words were out, before he'd thought about it or could take 'em back. Ignoring the hint of pink on his cheeks, as there was startlement in blue eyes--and sincerity.

A heartbeat's pause, and then that blush coming fully. Voice softer, earnest. "I mean...if...if you want to."

That bold statement has her blinking in a surprise, not expecting such a thing from Trunks. His blush was adorable though, even if she was joining him in the embarrassment.

“...Can’t be helped, I guess..” Her gaze was averted, but there was no mistaking the blush on her own face and the way her arms tightened around his neck.

How did she do that? She may yet to have one a sparring match, but Chinatsu beat him handily in other ways. Like how easily she just rolled with things; despite occasionally flustering her, she regained her balance quickly every time.

Just as graceful and in control as when she danced. Which she also schooled him at, for all that he could fight well. Gloved fingers smoothed over her shoulder and neck in affection as she tightened her grip, and that blush didn't fade. But there was pleasure, surprised pleasure and happiness at her agreement, and a hint of darker blue...

Interest, a hint of heat and fire that usually came out in their squabbling, or while sparring. Deeper though, faintly challenging, and an easy acceptance of the same from her.

"Probably not. I mean, you came here before changing too." His nose wrinkled a bit, one side of his mouth quirking back up. "Not that I'm not used to the scent of sweat..."

That got her feeling conscious. She was still a teenage girl, after all. "I-it's not like I could wait that long to che--!" She stopped herself before finishing that sentence, realizing what she was admitting to. Her face gets redder as her mouth just gapes, not sure how to backpedal from that.

Considering she'd flustered him, it was rare the tables were turned. Not that Trunks liked seeing her uncomfortable--that wasn't what he wanted. For once though, he didn't think...

At least not much, as there was that hint of surprise again at her statement, and then he was leaning forward. Head tilting slightly, just enough, and kissing her. Eyes closed, soft at first, and then more fully. Trying to show her, rather than tell her--he could not have cared less about sweat or dirt.

She was there, and that was enough.

While she would have considered that a rude interruption--- Chinatsu found that she didn't really mind. Either he was being surprisingly affectionate or he's slier than he admits to being.

"Sneaky.." she mutters in between the kiss, but quickly captures his lips again.

She could probably feel the smile, mouth curling into it as he took a breath. "Sometimes." Agreeing with her, before back to the much better idea of continuing to kiss her. Savoring the contact really; how they shared breath, and were close enough to feel a faint heat in the space between skin, having her in his arms and held close.

Definitely willing to ignore sweat or dirt and the small sting of blight that was hidden under his clothes thanks to his armor.

The armor that she was not so subtly starting to get off him. He did ask for help, didn't he?

Lucky for her, for all that it was durable it also stretched--HOW was a marvel really, and Trunks didn't have a clue of how to explain. Since he'd just shown up in it, really. But her hands along the straps, then down against his waist, fingers slipping under, was very nice. Chinatsu could easily feel the faint twitches where she touched, through light but sturdy fabric.

Pulling just slightly away, breathing, still with that smile, and then pressing a kiss to her cheek. Nuzzling it too, again enjoying the feel of her skin and scent of her, besides the after-math of battle. "If..." Another kiss, and then he's quiet--thinking about if he really wants to ask or not.

"If?" She let's the armor drop to the ground, already working on the zipper of his top. Her eyes are closed, enjoying the feeling of him nuzzling against her so affectionately.

It was the only time his arms moved from being wrapped around her; up and helping her pull off the armor before they went right back to her waist and along her shoulders. Right back to him nuzzling against her cheek, her brow, feeling her hair tickle his face. "If...If..you wanted..."

Darnit, why was it so hard to say? How was it emotions could make him shy, when he could be fearless at other times? Huffing at himself, breath soft and warm against her neck.

Close against him, held tightly, it was easy for Chinatsu to feel him take a breath and hold it slightly, gathering courage. "If you wanted...we...could clean up together?" There--it was out, and Trunks could feel his face flushed with heat.

That makes her pause, pulling back slightly to look at him properly. There's a brief moment of silence before he'll hear a "Pfft--," he face clearly amused, though the blush is still apparent. "Not what I expected to hear from such straight-laced guy." It said something about how comfortable she was with him that she didn't burst in embarrassment. Her eyes do dart to the side though as she answers. "I mean...I'm not against it..or anything. Saving water and all..."

"I have my moments..." He is still blushing after all. But with her own words his hold is tightening around her just a bit. Just possessive enough, and accepting, and pleased.

Straight-laced though, hmm?

Ducking his head, Trunks moved it slightly to the side and against her own, by her ear and her neck. Kissing softly, before whispering. "I'm controlled a lot of the time, doesn't mean all of the time though." Still blushing, but also teasing her. Especially with the nip against her earlobe, and kiss pressed behind it.

The insinuation had her blushing more--and then there was that teasing nip at her ear. Her shoulders tense a little, feeling the way her spine tingled from his actions. Not that she was going to just let him have his way.

"Right...you're not so controlled when I do this" Her fingers crawl over to his sides, tickling him quite mercilessly.

She was right, he wasn't, as he tensed and tried to curl in on himself. Which was hard to do because he was also still curled around her Arm around her waist and shoulders, head burying against her neck and she could feel him biting his lip trying not to let the laughter out.

"Ch--Cheater!" But there was no bite, never any bite the few times she used this one weakness against him. Even then, with her fingers dancing along his ribs and stomach, as he tensed and tried to curl himself up around her, he was ever aware of her. Of how tight he could hold, but wouldn't lest he hurt her.

Oh yeah, crapbaskets indeed.

It was about the only way she could take him down, so Chinatsu took advantage of it whenever she could. "I wanna say this levels the playing field for me--so not really cheating," she hums in amusement as she continues her assault. Honestly, she wondered if he really didn't like it, because surely he could stop her whenever he wanted. He was capable of that much.

He was capable of so much more than simply 'stopping' her from doing so. If Trunks really wanted, he could've kept her from doing it in the first place--but it'd also mean they wouldn't be doing a lot of things. Embraces that weren't preludes to a throw during a sparring match being the most important of those things.

"Chinatsu..." Perhaps a hint of warning at the end. Except she still thought he was 'straight-laced' huh? Maybe it was adrenaline coming down from battle, maybe it was the playfulness, maybe it was all of those or none.

Tickling him was one of the only ways she could 'level the playing field'...until her hands he moved quickly. Too quickly, in some ways--pulling away enough to grab her hands and bring them up above her head. Stepping in slightly to her guard (which wasn't hard), and bringing her up on her toes and against him. Pivoting, and then only a few steps, before they were nose to nose, and Chinatsu's back was against the stone outer-temple wall. Pinning her bodily, with a hint of smirk. "There are better ways to get me to relax y'know..." Teasing too, but there's sincerity in Trunks' eyes. If this was at all unwelcome, or unwanted, he'd let her free.

Well, she didn't see that coming.

All Chinatsu could do was let out what sounded like a squeak as he pinned her against the wall, hands above her head. "....Who's the cheater now?," she pouts, though really it's more of her being embarrassed. What was new? It wasn't because he managed to flip things so easily, but more of how he did it. She felt more of him now as he pressed against her, and how she had to actually rely on his hold with how vulnerable and unstable her position was as she was on her toes. She was also pretty sure this was the opposite of relaxing, because she could feel her heart pounding like crazy.
