Character Information
Name: Trunks Brief
Canon: Dragon Ball Z
Canon Point: Middle of the Cell Games, while Cell battles Super-Saiyan 2 Gohan but before Cell kills Trunks. (Episode # 94 in Dragon Ball Z-Kai, #187 in regular Dragon Ball Z.)
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: OU
Age:About 19 (Time travel and shenanigans make it difficult to pin down an exact age at this canon-point.)
World Information: Earth; Trunks himself is from an alternate future that differs starting in Age 766. (Age being how they number years.) His own life has had him been raised in a dystopia ruled over by terroristic cyborg-twins that have been slowly wiping out all of humanity for their own whims. His mother, Bulma, builds a time-machine and Trunks goes back to the past (Age 764) to try and prevent his future from ever happening by warning those in the past. About 2.5 years after his first trip to the past, Trunks returns to help the main-world's timeline fight against Androids 17, 18, and Cell.
Personal History: Wiki link, but I'll try to summarize a bit.
This version of Trunks is the son of Bulma Brief (Earth) and Vegeta (Prince of Saiyans), born in age 766, from a likely one-night stand. Vegeta (along with the rest of the Z-warriors except for Gohan and Bulma) died while Trunks was about 6-7 months old, so he has never known his father--only hearing stories of him (heavily edited likely), and meeting him only when Trunks is a teen of about 16-17yrs old. Unlike in the main Dragon-world timeline, the world has grown into more of a dystopia ruled over by sociopathic cyborg twins #17 and #18(referred to as Androids). Trunks childhood was spent somewhat isolated as Bulma was protective of him and reluctant to let him fight although it is clear Gohan trained him in combat and was working with him on becoming a super-saiyan. Gohan, however, also tried to keep Trunks from fighting, knowing he was no match for the Androids until he'd reached that state.
When he was 14, Trunks followed Gohan when the latter went to stop an attack by 17 and 18 on the amusement park, Super World, but Gohan knocked the younger teen out. Waking up later, Trunks would find Gohan dead--and while his grief and rage unlocked the Super Saiyan state for him, it was at heavy loss. Sometime in the next year, Trunks himself would try to fight the androids again, and lose badly; lucky to be alive, only because he is the closest thing to a challenge 17 and 18 have, he recovers while his mother builds the time machine. When he's 16, Trunks goes to the past and year 762--confronting Frieza's arrival in place of Goku (as had happened in his own world), killing the rebuilt-tyrant, and meeting Goku when he he returns, with the other Z-warriors. He does not tell anyone except Goku (and Piccolo who overhears) who he is, but gives them the warning about the androids, as well as heart-medicine to prevent the sickness that will kill Goku and keep him from ever facing the androids. Then he goes back to his own timeline.
He returns to the main timeline again about 2.5 years later, intending to come and help the past Z-warriors against the androids. This is when he finds out that his memories do not match what's happened, and he has changed the past from what he knew. There are 2 more Androids (19 and 20), one of whom is a transformed Dr. Gero. This is when he really gets to know the other Z-fighters; they are unable to prevent Gero from activating Androids 17 and 18 (who then kill their creator), and soon after the secret of who Trunks is, is revealed.
Things get a bit complicated, as it turns out there is one more android--capable of absorbing the other androids, named Cell. Cell's goal is to destroy Goku and the world, but he decides to first hold a tournament against the worlds strongest fighters. For his amusement.
During all this, Trunks tries (and fails) to bond with Vegeta, but does become friends with the rest of the Z-warriors.
Personality: Trunks' biggest strengths driving his personality are his protective and kind heart, and his biggest weaknesses are his broody nature and desire to prove himself to his father. The latter shouldn't be too much of an issue on the train although it certainly still has its influence on him. Overall though, Trunks is very much a hero-type and it shows mostly because he'd view it as doing what he must, because no one else can.
Given how his life has gone, it should be unsurprising that Trunks can be broody and quiet. What might be more surprising is that despite who his parents are, he's actually very polite and well-mannered, not to mention a bit shy around groups of people or when being teased or flirted with. Once he's comfortable, he's actually quite friendly and willing to help even without being asked. He won't hesitate to jump in to protect someone who needs it, and is often one of the first people to put himself between others and danger. He's harsh on himself though, which leads to him brooding over his flaws and failures. Often he needs an outside influence to either snap him out of this, or distract him from it so he doesn't focus on them.
His next biggest weak point at the canon-point I'll take him from is probably his desire to bond with his father, which has overtones of the family flaw of Pride. He would very much like to actually be recognized, at least as a warrior but preferably as a son as well, by the father he has never known before. Vegeta barely tolerates his presence at best, during the Androids and Cell Saga arcs.
Speaking of the family flaw of pride, Trunks does have one truly bad aspect of it as a weakspot in his personality. He's very confident, and he can back up that confidence often. He usually has no problem admitting when he doesn't know something either. But if he gets cocky, it has backfired on him every single time in canon. So long as he manages to keep his own cockiness in check, he's fairly rational and able to deal with almost anything.
Despite growing up in an apocalypse, and often having to be the lone warrior protecting what's left of humanity, Trunks is fairly friendly when you get to know him. He can be very serious and does not play when a threat needs to be eliminated. But he does have the brains and smarts to be talked down, and to be certain that the threat does need eliminating. He's also very stubborn, with his willpower and determination often driving him to do his best and then get better than that.
CRAU developments: N/a
Key themes: Hope--this is the biggest one, Change of time-line-fates, father-son-issues, protecting those who need it.
Main Motivation: Protecting others, especially from threats they can't handle.
Skills:
Master Martial Artist/Swordsman
Trunks is a hybrid of human and saiyan, a race of warriors. Fighting and training is in his blood. While mostly self-taught, he achieved basic ki-manipulation and the ability to use it to fly as well as combat skills enough to impress Gohan with how far along he was at age 14. With Gohan then mentoring him properly, he became skilled enough to have a more effective chance against advanced Androids (really Cyborg entities) who terrorized and devastated their world.
It is unknown when Trunks first gained his sword, or how (at least in the canon we have) or who taught him to wield it. Nevertheless he is shown to be extremely skilled in its use, but not dependent on it.
Ki-energy manipulation
Ki-energy is a representation of the life-force all beings have, being harnessed and honed to improve oneself. For Martial Artists, it allows greater endurance, among other things. A master Martial Artist may be able to focus their ki-energy to allow them super-human feats (such as levitation and flying) or a focused blast of energy. They might also be able to project their ki-energy around them in an aura that can shield them. A skilled user of ki-energy may also be able to sense the presence of other strong ki-users, and mask their own ki-signature and presence.
Trunks is an extremely skilled ki-energy user, being naturally adept at it thanks to his heritage and training. He is capable of masking his own ki-signature and presence (his power level essentially), as well as sensing other extremely strong people. He can fly, project his ki-energy around him in an aura, and has mastered basic ki-energy bursts.
Mechanical Engineering/Computer Programming and Maintenance
Trunks is the son and grandson of a Genius-inventor, and in his time-line has had to maintain what resources they have in the post-apocalyptic-West City. While not at his mother's level, he likely has enough know how to access most hidden files and repair most basic modern-technology and devices.
Urban Survival and Scavenging
Trunks has had the misfortune to exist in a world under constant attack by Androids intent on terrorizing and killing everyone. They destroy cities without remorse, and Trunks and his mother remained in the ruins of Capsule Corps in West City, using the demolition as cover.
Item: Capsule case with 3 Capsules: Capsule 1-mini-fridge, Capsule 2-his regular clothes, Capsule 3-his saiyan armor
Sample: My Test Drive Samples
Notes: This seems as good a place as any to put the info on his dual-heritage. Trunks is a hybrid of Human/Saiyan. His heritage means he is a gifted natural fighter, adept at training, learns quickly, and at using and sensing ki (and skills utilizing it). His natural talent is already that of a peak human athlete and lower-level super-human. His heritage also grants him slightly heightened senses compared to a normal human and a heightened rate of healing as well as greater resistance to injury along with immunity to basic sickness. He is also the son of the genius, Bulma Briefs, and grandson to Dr. Briefs; in addition to the good genes that gives him, he was raised by his mother and home-school/tutored, and expected to be intelligent and use his brain.
Because of his Saiyan heritage, he has access to 2 distinct unique abilities. The first is known as a 'zenkai' boost; any time a saiyan (or hybrid) is brought close to death, but does not die, and is healed--they gain a boost to their base physiology and abilities. What does not kill them, quite literally, only makes them stronger. The second is a powered-up form known as “Super Saiyan”. This form at level 1 takes the natural power of the individual, and multiplies it by 50. With training it may be further modified and increased, with different grades and levels.
The Super Saiyan form is not without drawbacks, as it is ultimately fueled by rage and anger. He's a bit more ruthless, impulsive, and even vengeful while in that state, as well as it costing ki-energy to maintain the form. On the physical side of things, at level 1--his musculature and physique become a bit more defined, his hair will spike up from the ki-energy (like in a harsh wind) and turn gold, and his eyes turn green.
For ease, I'll skip trying to explain about grade 2 or 3 while in Super Saiyan and just use the shorthand version of it as "Ultra Super Saiyan". It's a slight change in the usual transformation that ultimately sacrifices speed for power, as the super-saiyan bulks up in body mass and muscle for more strength.
Amaterasu
Name:Lin
Age: Late 30s

Character Information
Name: Amaterasu (Ammy)
Canon: Okami
Canon Point:
OU/AU/CRAU/OC: OU
Age:Unknown
World Information: Please see the Wiki link. It's basically classical mythical Japan.
Personal History: Amaterasu is the sun goddess of Japan, reincarnated into a white wolf from her previous life as Shiranui to come to save Japan from the darkness once more. She starts things very weak though, having been a statue and must regain her divine brush skills as well as worship and praise to help her grow stronger by helping beings in Nippon. This can be as simple as feeding hungry animals, making trees bloom, helping someone dry their laundry, or as complex as rescuing a kidnapped princess, defeating the local demon, and clearing out a cursed zone. Amaterasu is referred to repeatedly in game as "Mother to us all and of all that is good" by hungry animals.
Here have a Wiki Link
Personality: Ammy is mature and responsible, albeit slightly impatient at times. She tries to see the good in everyone, but is not afraid to take down evil. She is, ultimately, stuck in a wolf's body so sometimes her attention span or desire for food can be a distraction. She's very kind, and won't hesitate to help anyone in need, while also being very intelligent and not afraid to show her opinions. She can be offended easily, but she's more likely to shun someone for it than anything else. She's also not fond of baths.
Key themes: Fighting monsters and darkness and corruption, helping beings live in harmony, helping those in need.
Main Motivation: Save Nippon from the corrupting influence of Yami (A form of darkness/corruption of sorts.)
Skills: Amaterasu's biggest skill is her use and wielding of Celestial brush skills. In game, this is represented by literally pausing reality to view it as a scroll, which you then paint a symbol on for what you want to effect. A loopy-wave becomes wind, circling around closed flowers or trees cause them to bloom. Ammy has 13 different brush skills:
Sunrise--makes the sun rise and turn night into day
Rejuvenation--restores broken objects
Power-Slash--a basic slash that can cut objects or people
Greensprout--3 variants: Bloom, which causes flora to open and sprout. Water-Lily, which forms a giant water lily leaf on a body of water. Vine, which allows one to create vines linking either the wielder or objects together.
Cherry Bomb--creates a small bomb and explosion
Crescent--makes the moon rise and turns day into night.
Waterspout--allows manipulation of water to make rain or create a jet of water from a source.
Galestorm--allows manipulation of the wind, including the making of tornadoes.
Veil of Mist--Slows down time for about 4 seconds for the wielder.
Catwalk--allows one to paint a 'path' on walls or the ceiling and walk on said path.
Thunderstorm--allows manipulation of lightening.
Blizzard--allows manipulation of ice and snow, including creating ice-blocks in a frigid wind.
Ammy herself is a goddess and so can't be truly 'killed' except through extreme means. She can still be injured however, and does require healing and food and rest. She's also incarnated as a wolf, so has her teeth and claws and agility and the basic skills of a wolf.

Notes: Ammy, being a goddess, will need to be limited; and I am perfectly okay with this. There's also the fact that she can not speak except via whines/growls/barks/etc like a real Wolf. I've had her be able to 'write' on the air before, but it's usually archaic Japanese and only there for a 2nd. Basically I realize there will be things that need to be modified or changed, and I'm up for discussing them.

Splinter is wise and polite, stern when he has to be but not without a sense of humor.
