It probably wouldn't make a difference, but it was habit now--especially now that they had an idea of what they were facing--for Trunks to mask his ki. For now, he'd keep it hidden until necessary.
"Direct me, and I'll take point." A glance to Will, confirming that's alright. He didn't doubt the younger boy's talents or abilities. Trunks was still used to throwing himself between others and danger though, and they were paired together for a reason.
