That just makes the woman put a hand on her hip and look at him skeptically. "I'll say. What we're doing out here, was tracking some strange readings that appeared suddenly." Friendly, but a hint of backbone and sarcasm.
Eyeing the Doctor up and down, and her head tilted. Pretty sure he had to be connected to the strange reading, or have a vehicle of some kind, since his clothes didn't look like he'd traveled far in them. Most of the areas that were being re-inhabited, at least in West City, were around Capsule Corp and in the other direction.
Bulma was debating with herself, whether she wanted to call the stranger on it, when she noticed her son was still there. It was touching, and annoying all the same. She wasn't defenseless, and she wanted more information.
"Shoo! Go check it out. I'll be fine." Complete with a hand motion at her son, who looked like he was about to protest. "No, really." Holding up the tablet-scanner again, and pressing a button or three. "He's not an android, Trunks..."
"...that doesn't mean he's not a threat." Was the grudging retort.
"Yes, but I can handle a threat that's humanoid and not an android. GO. I wanna know what made that spike." Again with the hand-waving motion, and this time he went. A faint sigh, moving past the Doctor a step or two (just in case, making sure he couldn't see anything obviously like a hidden weapon or something), and then just off. Into the air. A jump and fast flying away in the direction indicated.

That's not something one sees every day.
