"Oh I can build a transmitter if you can get me those readings." Bulma said confidently, smirking while Ten gathered his gear. She reached into a pocket and pulled out a small capsule. "I've got tools and some spare parts right here, and anything we don't have, we can get easily."
Trunks was looking kind of lost for a moment, before he sighed. "Which means I guess I'm the bait, for you two testing it, huh?" Made sense to him, and there was a half-smile on his face because as much as it wasn't fun, he didn't mind. It wasn't like he wouldn't recover, so long as he didn't die. Of the 3 of them, he was also the most suited for it.
