"Of course." That was something she could agree on. The hesitation maybe not so much, but she would try to focus on the here and now. Especially when he was being so thoroughly distracting, though if he thought for a moment she would pull away instead, he would be in for a surprise. When he hesitated, she made the initiative and for that moment it felt like her heart skipped a beat yet was far too loud. Were it not for the more analytical parts of her mind she'd fear someone else was hearing it too, even as her exhaustion that seemed to melt away in the moment.
To feel his lips against hers once more, and to be by his side always. That's what she'd wanted this entire time.
