Godo, for all that he'd been ready to fight, and dismayed by Yuffie's impulsiveness, was kneeling on the veranda. (Not surprised, just dismayed and worried as usual.) His cane at his side, and the kimono his wife had valued folded carefully and placed beside him as he watched the two. "They have not. This was unexpected tonight. I'll post extra sentries at checkpoints."
