Godo breathed in, catching the treasured fabric. Part of him scandalized, but resigned at Yuffie's actions, as he clutched the fabric and turned part of it over his sholder. Letting him draw his hidden blade from the cane, ready to defend himself as well.
The night air was cool, filled with a sense of terrible waiting. Small slivers came racing towards the Pagoda's entry, from off to the right and up. A smooth pivot from Vincent, aiming, and the crack of gunfire piercing the silence. In response some kind of ghostly humanoid shape, grey-smoke against the midnight blues and dark greens of the evening, skittered over the roof.
