It was a lonely life, but Loki could do lonely. In some ways he had always been lonely--why should now be any different. But it was his chance to change what happened. To avoid... To stop Thanos--that was what was most important in the long run.
Truthfully, he still didn't quite trust his 'benefactors'--and would take his time so that he worded his 'wish' very carefully indeed. Maybe it was best Loki was a solitary Explorer then. Less people to potentially involve and make things complicated.
He had earned his break however, at the waystation. A rare chance to resupply, to get off of the ship. No matter how nice a ship it was, or he made it, it was still not home. But then, home didn't exist anymore either. Checking his omniband, Loki found the inventory and map of the waystation, and his eyebrows shot up. A library! Truly?
Well, now he knew exactly where he was going first.
The stations were the only time he bothered wearing the actual 'uniform', and he found it so dull to be doing so. But it had been a polite request, and he'd seen the value in it if only for the brief times he did make other Explorer's acquaintances. It was an annoyance, but tolerable. Unlike other's however, his at least was black. Nor did he bear a normal 'role'--only a patch saying "Agent". Loki had taken off the patch bearing 'Odinson'--as he wished to be known on his own terms.
Quite a sight though, tall form striding down the hall in all black with only "Agent" on his jacket, blue-green eyes taking in everything even though he walked with a purpose.
