Joy nodded, reaching over and pulling out a small wand-type object that revealed itself to be a medical scanner. "Oh dear. I take it Mr. Briefs found you shortly before your fall?" Said as politely and nicely as she treated anyone. Ignoring Jayne's snort and chuckles as she said Trunks' last name aloud.
"Please, just call me Trunks?" Said crew-member in question murmured, to Jayne's continued amusement. Slapping his hand over his heart. "Clear Skies boy, whoever named ya musta been drunk or somethin'. Musta been bullied a lot growing up too." Jayne had the biggest shit-eating grin as he continued to probe.
Trunks just held himself steady and tall, refusing to rise to the bait. He'd been bullied far more than the other man would ever know, but it could wait. They should try to get along at least. "She almost crashed into me, and then we were walking down to the Loading Dock, when she tripped." Ignoring Jayne's remarks in favor of giving Nurse Joy that information.
"I see." Joy murmured, as she'd run the wand-scanner along but away from Thea's side. A friendly smile. "The good news is, whatever happened, our hosts saw fit to heal you on your arrival. Likely the rush of whatever happened, along with the sudden healing and new circumstances caused the vertigo."
