Loki had headed straight for the mystery section, and was browsing titles. Pulling out any that seemed to catch his eye, and reading the brief summary on the inside cover.
Thank goodness they were actual physical books! Properly bound and sturdy, and in a language he recognized. Although that might've been his benefactor's work--as Loki had yet to encounter a language written on the stations that he didn't recognize. Or one spoken either, the few times he interacted with other Explorer's.
He has a small selection in one arm when he's jostled, turning to look at the other with a frown. The mumbled apology mollifies him a little, as Loki just raises an eyebrow. Studying the other, noting how hunched into his uniform (and hiding under layers) he is.
